Direction

I would like to use this blog to track thoughts of where I would either like to live or travel, things I have and would like to take pictures of and my adventures in the kitchen. Travel, cooking and photography are three things I have intense passions for.
Sometimes I think I was born to travel. Some days it is all I can think about. I also feel that sometimes I am meant to live in a big city, like New York, or Los Angeles. Or somewhere overseas, such as Dublin or London. The idea of travel consumes me and living somewhere with a vast diversity of culture is a strong desire.

Imagine living in New York City. Yes, the city is huge and extremely expensive, but think of the culture. One of my dreams is to live in a little studio or one bedroom loft above a small produce market or coffee shop in the SoHo district where I can hop on the subway and explore the city and all of its wonders. I want to be able to eat spectacular Chinese food or a huge slice of the best pizza ever. I want to walk Central Park when the sun is shining through the trees and listen to the whisps of music drifting from the musicians throughout the city. Mostly I just want to walk, listen, photograph and enjoy. I want to visit the produce markets and local businesses where people make the food of their culture fresh daily and bring it all back to my little apartment and cook colorful, delicious meals from those ingredients. I dream of the lights, the entertainment, the noise. Someday...
Travel... If you take to following me, you will learn that I am obsessed. The main place you will hear me speak of is Ireland. I have never been, but I think about it often and talk about it frequently. I would love to stand on the cliffs of Dover in a flowy dress with my face to the wind and have someone take my picture. I want to see a rainbow over the emerald hills and have a pint in a pub while eating corned beef and Irish Soda Bread. I want to stay in a cozy cottage off of a winding country road carved in the dirt. I want to lean backwards, precariously hanging on as I kiss the Blarney Stone.
So there it is, travel, places to live and photography. Dreams, wishes, thoughts and obsessions.
